The Assiniboine Valley Health & Wellness Foundation Inc. (AVHWF), formed in 2013, is incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

AVHWF was created to sustain and promote health and wellness within Kamsack and the surrounding
areas through the creation, maintenance and guidance of the Assiniboine Valley Health Center.

Along with scheduled appointments, the physicians at AVMC provide walk-in services to patients requiring
more urgent care and to patients who are unable to access their own physicians in a timely manner.

Our walk-in clinic is Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons from 1:00pm to 4:30pm

Assiniboine Valley Medical Center has operated in a paperless environment by using secure electronic medical records since 2012. Lab results, x-rays and all fax documents are received electronically. As a service to patients, you can book your medical appointments online. Book here.

Note: Some of the above listed procedures or services are not covered by Saskatchewan Health. These
services are billable directly to the patient. Pricing for these services are located at reception.
